The Apple iPhone
The iPhone is a smartphone designed and marketed by Apple. It is currently available in three basic models, the iPhone 3GS comes only with 8GB of memory and is now condifered the 'budget' iPhone model. The iPhone 4 is available in either 16GB or 32GB capacities.iPhone colors

The iPhone 4's most prominent feature is its 9cm (3.5 inch) touchscreen display with a resolution of 960×640 pixels, the highest resolution display so far fitted to a mobile phone. The engineered glass screen is highly resistance to marks and sratchers. and 18-bit colour depth. The 3GS has a 320x480 pixel resolution touchscreen. Both displays use capacitive technology and as such are designed for use with a bare finger.Input methods
The touch and gesture features of the iPhone are based on technology originally developed by FingerWorks. As an improvement on the iPhone 3G, the iPhone 3GS features a fingerprint-resistant oleo phobic coating. The iPhone does not have a physical keyboard, but uses the phone's multi-touch screen to provide a virtual keyboard.The display responds to three sensors. A proximity sensor deactivates the display when brought near the face (such as during a call) thus saving battery power and preventing inputs from the user's face and ears. An ambient light sensor adjusts the display brightness according to the ambient conditions whilst a 3-axis accelerometer senses the orientation of the phone and changes the screen accordingly.
Your free iPhone will have three physical switches: wake and sleep, volume up/ down, and ringer on/off. A single "Home" button below the display takes the user to the main menu.
